Warranty Coverage

Warranty coverage begins at the delivery date. NZ Spas Online only extends this warranty to the original purchaser. This warranty is non-transferable. 

This warranty does not cover defects or damage due to normal wear and tear, improper installation, alterations, accident, acts of God, misuse, abuse, commercial or industrial use.

All electrical connections must be carried out by a qualified registered electrician. Failure to do so will immediately VOID this warranty. The spa must be connected to a dedicated mains electrical supply circuit protected by a compliant earth leakage circuit breaker safety switch. NZ Spas Online reserves the right to ask for proof that the spa has been installed by a qualified electrician if any warranty claims are made.

NZ Spas Online reserves the right, at its option, to either repair or replace the defective spa or component. If NZ Spas Online determines that the repair of the defect is not feasible, we reserve the right to instead provide a replacement spa equal in value to the original purchase price of the defective spa.  NZ Spas Online will not be liable for costs associated with but not limited to building alterations, removal costs, delivery costs or labour costs associated with the replacement of a spa 

10-year frame Warranty

NZ Spas Online warrants the structural integrity of the spa frame against defects in workmanship and materials for 10 years of the spa subject to the limitations, conditions and exclusions expressed in this warranty. 

5-year acrylic warranty

6.1 NZ Spas Online warrants the acrylic shell  against the loss of water through the acrylic surface of the spa shell for a period of 5 years from the date of delivery, subject to limitations and conditions in this warranty.

2-year jet warranty

7.1 NZ Spas Online warrants the spa jets to be free of manufacturing defects for a period of 2 years from the date of delivery. This warranty excludes damage caused by grit, sand and improper water chemistry causing corrosion of the part. Labour is included for the first 12 months, thereafter, the warranty is limited to replacement parts and excludes labour. Any waterfalls have a 1-year parts only warranty.

2-year heater warranty

8.1 NZ Spas Online warrants the heater element against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 2 years from date of delivery. Labour is included for the first 12 months, thereafter, the warranty is limited to replacement parts and excludes labour. Damage caused to the heater due to incorrect water care that results in the heater failing is not covered under this warranty.

2-year plumbing warranty

9.1 NZ Spas Online warrants the plumbing, and plumbing joints against defects in materials and workmanship causing leaking for a period of 2 years from the date of delivery. Labour is included for the first 12 months, thereafter, the warranty is limited to replacement parts and excludes labour.

2-year pump and electronic warranty

10.1 NZ Spas online warrants the water pumps and electronic control system against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 2 years from date of delivery. Labour is included for the first 12 months, thereafter, the warranty is limited to replacement parts and excludes labour.  Damage caused to the pump due to incorrect water care that results in the pump failing is not covered under this warranty. UV sanitizer, Ozone sanitizer and LED Light(s) assemblies, to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 1 year.

1-year cabinet warranty 

11.1 NZ Spas online warrants the spa cabinet against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 1 year from date of delivery. This warranty specifically covers the structural integrity of the cabinet.  Fading and weathering of the surface will occur naturally over time and are not considered defects.

1-year spa hardcover warranty

NZ Spas Online warrants the spa cover for a period of 1 Year from the date of delivery. 

This warranty applies only to the structural integrity of the cover and the vinyl. 

Damage caused to stitching, straps or locks due to improper use of the cover will not be covered under the warranty. 

Disposal of any cover replaced under warranty will be the owner's responsibility. 

Warranty Exclusions 

Damage resulting from improper water maintenance and/or clogged filters

Damage from operating the spa above 43°C. 

Damage caused to the spa by improper use of spa cover and excessive exposure to sunlight, while empty of water and/or exposed to direct sunlight

Acts of God. 

Damage caused by not installing spa on sufficient hard level surface. 

Damage caused by incorrect electrical installation.

Damage caused by relocation of the spa from its original installed location.

Damage caused by rodents or pests. 

Damage caused by flooding 

Damage caused by third party carriers. 

Commercial use reduces all warranties to a maximum of 12 months. This includes hotels, motels, Air Bnb and gyms.

Compliance

NZ Spas Online takes no responsibly for failure to meet these requirements.

All inquiries should be directed to your local councils and/or regulatory bodies as applicable.

HOW TO LODGE A Warranty Claim 

To lodge a warranty claim, please contact NZ Spas Online directly at sales@nzspasonline.co.nz

Notice must be made in writing and is required within 7 days of fault/defect being noticed. 

Any repairs carried out prior to NZ Spas Online approval will be at the purchaser's cost. 

We require 500mm around all sides of the spa for our service agents to have access to the entire spa. 

Any cost to gain access to the spa that falls outside this requirement shall be met by the purchaser.

Please check with your local council for fence regulations with either your spa or swim spa,
